One of the most exciting parts of collecting Maileg is creating a home where your little friends can live, play and make memories.
Whether you're furnishing a cosy SuitCasa for adventures, styling a Mouse Hole Farmhouse for a growing Mouse family or decorating every room of the House of Miniature, every Maileg home tells its own story.
This guide explains the different Maileg homes, how the furniture collections work together and why there are no strict rules when it comes to building your own magical world.

Choose Your Home First
If you're wondering where to begin, our advice is simple.
Choose your home first.
Once you've selected your favourite Maileg home, choosing furniture becomes much easier because each home has been designed around a particular furniture collection.
Remember, these are recommendations—not rules.
Many collectors happily mix furniture, accessories and characters to create homes that feel unique and personal.
Our own Mouse House certainly does.

SuitCasa
The SuitCasa is the smallest Maileg home and is designed for adventures.
Its clever fold-out design creates a cosy little living space that's perfect for Little Brother and Little Sister Mice.
A growing range of compact furniture has been created especially for the SuitCasa, including a fold-out sofa, kitchenette, bathroom sink and other clever accessories that maximise the small space.
It's the perfect choice if you love storytelling, travel and portable play.
Mouse Hole Farmhouse
The Mouse Hole Farmhouse is where many collectors begin.
It provides a charming family home for the Maileg Mouse family and offers plenty of opportunities to style bedrooms, kitchens and living spaces.
If your family grows, you can expand the home even further by adding the optional annex, creating even more room for your little Mouse world to grow.

House of Miniature
The House of Miniature is Maileg's largest dollhouse and is designed for collectors who enjoy decorating interiors.
Every room becomes a blank canvas.
One of its biggest advantages is that you can expand the home even further by adding the optional Bathroom and Bonus Room, allowing your miniature world to evolve over time.
If you enjoy styling rooms, rearranging furniture and creating seasonal displays, this house offers endless possibilities.

Understanding the Furniture Collections
One of the things that initially confuses many collectors is that Maileg offers different furniture collections.
Fortunately, it's much simpler than it first appears.
SuitCasa Furniture
Designed specifically for the compact SuitCasa home.
Mouse Furniture
Created for the Mouse family and the Mouse Hole Farmhouse.
House of Miniature Furniture
Designed to suit the larger House of Miniature.
Each collection has been thoughtfully created to suit its home, making it easy to build your world one room at a time.
Do Everything Need to Match?
Not at all.
This is probably the most important thing we'd like every collector to know.
Although Maileg designs furniture to suit particular homes, there are no strict rules.
Many of our favourite displays combine pieces from different collections.
Our own Mouse House is filled with furniture that has moved from one home to another over the years.
Once everything is styled together, you rarely notice where it originally belonged.
Choose the pieces you love.
Create a home that makes you smile.
That's the magic of Maileg.

Building Your Home Over Time
One of the wonderful things about Maileg is that your collection doesn't need to be completed overnight.
Many collectors begin with a single Mouse and a little bed.
Then perhaps a table.
A chair.
A tiny lamp.
Before long, an entire little world has quietly appeared.
Building your Mouse House one special piece at a time is part of the joy.
