Start with Your Home

The easiest way to choose furniture is to decide which home you're building first.

Maileg currently has three main homes, and each has its own furniture collection.

Once you've chosen your home, selecting furniture becomes much easier.

SuitCasa Furniture

The SuitCasa is Maileg's smallest home.

To make the most of the compact space, Maileg has created a growing range of furniture designed especially for it.

This collection includes clever pieces such as:

  • Kitchenette
  • Bathroom sink
  • Compact storage

Every item has been designed to maximise space while creating wonderful opportunities for imaginative play.

Mouse Furniture

Mouse Furniture is the heart of the Maileg Mouse collection.

Designed specifically for the Mouse family, it includes everything needed to create a cosy little home.

This furniture is perfectly proportioned for the Mouse Hole Farmhouse, but many collectors also use it creatively in other displays.

The House of Miniature has its own furniture collection.

These pieces are designed specifically for the larger rooms within the House of Miniature and offer wonderful opportunities for collectors who enjoy decorating interiors.

As your home grows, you can also expand it with the optional Bathroom and Bonus Room, giving you even more space to style and personalise.

What About Micro Furniture?

Some Maileg furniture is labelled Micro.

Rather than thinking of it as a completely separate furniture range, it's best to think of Micro furniture as furniture designed specifically for Maileg's Micro-sized characters.

Depending on the piece, Micro furniture may also work beautifully with other collections.

As always, we recommend checking the individual product description for compatibility.

Do I Need Matching Furniture?

Absolutely not.

This is probably the biggest misconception we see.

Although Maileg designs furniture to suit particular homes and characters, there are no strict rules.

In our own Mouse House, furniture moves from room to room.

Some pieces have been borrowed from different collections.

Accessories are shared.

Once everything is styled together, you rarely notice where a particular item originally belonged.

The official compatibility recommendations are there to help you—but they're never intended to limit your creativity.

Build the home that makes you smile.

Building a Room Over Time

You don't need to furnish an entire house in one day.

Many collectors begin with:
